About Michelle
I’m Michelle and I love talking about money. Whether it’s accounting for small businesses or personal finance, I can talk about money for hours. I also know that a lot of other people do not feel the same way. So many people have been taught to never talk about money or to be scared of money and finances and accounting and I want to tell you I get it. The philosophy is so common, but I also think it’s important that we shake it up. I don’t want you to be afraid of your taxes, finances or accounting issues, either personally or in your business. I want to help.
My goal is to be approachable and answer questions to get you the help you need when it comes to your finances. I want to make sure you feel empowered to make decisions where your money is concerned and I’m hoping I can help you get to that place.
I live in Kitchener and I love this community. I shop local whenever I can and love sharing local brands, shops and restaurants with friends when I find something incredible. I enjoy reading all kinds of books and love the Kitchener Public Library.
I spent many years working in a large accounting firm and learned so much. I’ve worked in tech and at not-for-profit organizations and I think it’s beautiful the way our community incorporates so many types of companies and makers.
My hope is that I can help the businesses in this community that I love, to be a more active part of our growing and vibrant local economy.
